Depending on the technology used and component size, we achieve accuracies of ±0.1 mm to ±0.02 mm. For standard reverse engineering, ±0.05 mm is sufficient; for quality control in series production, we use photogrammetric reference markers and achieve ±0.02 mm. Yes, upon request, we create a fully parametric STEP model from the scan, which can be further processed directly in SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Fusion 360, or Creo. The difference to a pure mesh: the parametric model has clean geometry, editable dimensions, and is versionable.
